What is the Purple Card?

Over the years you've supported the public schools in Port Neches and Groves. Now, it's our turn to say "Thank you!" The Port Neches-Groves Independent School District's Purple Card is designed to encourage mature Indians to become more involved with schools by allowing eligible citizens free admission to all athletic events (EXCEPT THE PNG vs. NEDERLAND VARSITY FOOTBALL GAME) and activities sponsored or hosted by the district.

 How do you benefit?

You'll see how your support of the PNGISD has paid off. You'll observe some of PNGISD's 5,500 plus students in action.

By presenting your Purple Card, you'll be admitted free to concerts, plays, programs, and musical performances. Your Purple Card will also grant you free general admission seating to all home athletic contests (exclusive of playoffs and the PNG vs. NEDERLAND VARSITY FOOTBALL GAME).

Who may join?

Eligibility for membership is determined in any of the following three ways:

.               Residents of the Port Neches-Groves ISD who are 65 years of age or better

.               Spouses of Purple Card members, regardless of age.

.               Retired Port Neches-Groves ISD employees who are eligible for retirement benefits.
