I believe that all of my students can behave appropriately in my classroom. To ensure that each child has the best possible opportunity to learn in my classroom, I will require certain behavior in my classroom and enforce rules any 5-6 year old child should be able to follow. 

If a student chooses to break a rule, the child’s feather will be moved to a new color down our class totem pole, with each new color bringing a consequence. As always, positive comments about good behavior will be shared in our classroom on a regular basis.
