Welcome to Mrs. Chappell's Music Notes! This is my 11th year as the Music Teacher at Van Buren Elementary & my 15th year teaching. I am a 2003 graduate of Nederland High School & I continued my education at Sam Houston State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Music Education degree. I am so excited & honored to be teaching your child this year & I have a lot of fun activities planned! Music is very important in a child's life, & it is my hope that all of my students will develop a love for music & a desire to participate in its performance. With your help & support, I can make your child's musical experiences enjoyable & memorable. I look forward to a wonderfully productive year!
