Hello! My name is Jennifer Leger and I am a third grade teacher at Van Buren Elementary. This is my 14th year of teaching. I am married to my husband Derick and we have 3 precious boys. My stepson, Preston, is 18. My son, Easton, is 15 and is in 10th grade at PNG High School. My youngest son, Jaxon, is 11 and is in 6th grade at Groves Middle School.

Homework
The second week of school your child will start receiving homework Monday-Thursday. The homework needs to be done at home and checked and signed by a parent. If a student does not return their homework they will miss recess and have to write the code of conduct the next day in study hall. It is important for your child to do their homework each night to ensure their success in third grade.
