                                                             Welcome

         school  NOTE FROM MRS. GRAY....

Dear New 4th Graders and Families,

I can't tell you how THRILLED I am that we will be starting the new school year very soon!  While it may feel and look a little "different", know that you have an amazing school to come to.  This is a self-contained class, and I'll be teaching all subjects.  However, my first and foremost goal is to help each of my students feel safe and comfortable.  It's a huge transition moving to a new school, but no worries, we've got this!

Here's a few things to know about me!  This will be my 14th year of teaching!  I can't believe how fast the years have gone by.  I am orginially from Port Neches and actually went to this very school in 4th and 5th grade.  (Talk about full circle!)  However,  I do have a little black and gold in me.  I've lived and raised my two daughters in Nederland for over 20 years.  I'm married to my incredible husband and we'll be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year! :) We are super proud of our girls!  Robyn, my oldest, is finishing up Grad School at Lamar (Biology) and Abby is a sophmore at Texas A&M (Gig'Em).  We have a little dog named Jasper...my class loves meeting him!  ;)  I love to travel, be outside, hike with my family, and relax with a good book!

If you have questions or concerns of any kind, please feel free to contact me.  I'm ALL ABOUT communication with my parents and students!! (via:  social media, Remind, letters, etc.)

We are going to have an AMAZING year! I hope you are as excited as I am to get back into a "school groove"!

    Yours,

    Mrs. Gray
