I have been teaching middle school math for 16 years.  I participated in the Math Teacher Mentor Program through Region 5 for six years.  This program required 100 hours of training per year and provided me the opportunity to collaborate with math teachers across the region.  

I graduated from Bridge City High School in 1985 and from Lamar University Beaumont in 1990.  I homeschooled my own 3 children for five years in various grade levels from Kindergarten to 5th grade.  I have taught 6th, 7th, and/or 8th grade math for the past 16 years.
