To become a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the undergraduate/graduate must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and the undergraduate/graduate must rank at least in the highest thirty-five percent of his/her class. During my time at Lamar University, I participated in the study abroad program. I spent several weeks in Japan studying language, culture, and history. I underwent language, literature, and culture classes at Yasuda Women’s University in Hiroshima. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in English. I truly enjoy studying other societies' cultures and literature. Literature is one of my strongest passions in life, and I am blessed to share my passion with my students.
