Welcome to ESL!
My name is Kristi Abshire, and I am delighted to be teaching English as a Second Language servicing Woodcrest and Port Neches Elementary. When students come to ESL class, we will work on strengthening their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English. We will also focus on increasing their basic and academic vocabulary in English through use of technology, educational games, and language rich activities.
