Ms. Jill Hamilton

Hey everyone! Math is the language of the universe, and I am so glad to be sharing it with my students each day!

My name is Jillian Hamilton. I joined the PN-G High School faculty in the fall of 2011, and I am so honored to be part of such an exceptional campus and district. I studied at Lamar University as a Mirabeau Scholar and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in May of 2009. During my time as an undergraduate, I began my professional research in combinatorics and began presenting my work at conferences. In the fall of 2009, I enrolled in Lamar once again to pursue graduate studies in mathematics. I published my first professional paper in 2010 and began teaching for Lamar as an Adjunct Instructor that fall. I graduated from Lamar with a Master of Science in Mathematics in August of 2011. I am in my eighth year of teaching Pre-Calculus (Regular and Pre-AP) and AP Calculus I; each of these courses is co-enrolled via our partnership with Lamar University. I am 8-12 Mathematics and Gifted/Talented Certified.
