The Language Arts grades will be made up of spelling and english grades. English grades are recorded as assignments and weighted as 60% of the grade. All spelling tests will be recorded as tests and weighted as 40% of the grade. On the report card, Spelling and English is combined under one grade under Language Arts.

* Any grade below a 70 will require a signature and corrections. The average of the corrected assignment and the original grade will be averaged and recorded. 

There will be a minimum of 12 grades per six week grading period.

As per PN-G ISD policy on late work:

-11 points for first day late

-21 pointes second day late

-31 points third day late
