Welcome!

I am Kristen Iwasko and I am so excited to be your child's reading and writing teacher this year! I have a passion for encouraging kids to love books and authors! I hope in time,  they will begin to see themselves as authors. I grew up in Kingwood, TX and spent most of my life there. I now live in Nederland with my husband (Chris) and 3 children (Macy-10, Molly-6, Charlie-1).  I graduated from Texas State University in 2006 with a degree in elementary education. This is my 12th year of teaching and I know it will be great!
