Second Chances and Reteaching-- Continuous reteaching occurs at all levels. However, the standard that will followed with regards to calculating/recalculating a student’s grade within my grade level/subject matter after second chances/reteaching is as follows:
- Formal Assessment (40%) - the student may have the opportunity to correct their work in class for up to a 70
Extra Credit-- The following standard will be followed with regards to administering extra credit within my grade level/subject matter:
- The student may receive one extra credit assignment based on the teacher's discretion.
Grading Penalties-- The following standard will be followed with regards to the grading penalties within my grade level/subject matter:
- Late assignments may result in the maximum credit of: 1 day- 89; 2 days-79; 3 days- 69; 4 days- 0
Headings (Grades 2-5)-- The following standard will be followed with regards to the grading penalties within my grade level/subject matter:
- If a student does not have their name on their paper, the maximum penalty of 5 points may be deducted from their assignment.
