    Instructor: HOLLY SARTIN

    •  This will be my 26th year to teach.   Twenty five of those years have been teaching 1st grade. I LOVE TEACHING FIRST GRADE! It is one of the most incredible years your child will have in his/her school career. I hope to make your first grade year a fun and exciting one. I also hope to instill a love of learning that will last throughout your child’s years of schooling. I want each child in my classroom to be successful. I believe that this can be achieved with a partnership between teacher, parents and students. Thanks for sharing your child with me this school year.

    Reminders

    In order to promote reading, your child will begin bringing decodable readers home with some of their phonics homework. Please sit and listen to your child read them! Ask your child questions about the story in the back of the book then sign and return the books in their saxon folders the next day. Please be sure to check your child's folders every night.
