  • Welcome to Mrs. White's World!

I absolutely love teaching!  This is my 25th year as an educator at Port Neches Elementary. My specialization is in Reading / Dyslexia / Irlen's Syndrome.  I'm blessed to be married 28 years to Aaron White, with two children, Victoria (23) and Zachary (21). My kids are 4th generation PNG Indians!  #PNEisthePlacetoBe * #PNGproud * #AlwaysBeFaithful

My goals for my students are for them to grow in confidence and success, with READING and WRITING, in their journey to become leaders and world changers!

The most important way to become a better reader is to READ.  Reading at least 20-30 minutes a day is the biggest factor to gain increased vocabulary and comprehension skills.  Reading what other authors write is one thing. Being the author, writing for others to read, is another.  Being able to communicate in writing what you mean is important.  Journaling or writing each day will also help in becoming a better reader and writer.

Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns or input by email or phone.  dwhite@pngisd.org  (409) 722-2262

Let's have an amazing year of discovery and innovation! Together, we can instill knowledge, values, character, and vision in these young minds.

    Joyfully,

    Mrs. White
